Karen’s Tip: Start a Club

Starting a club at work can accelerate your career by providing opportunities to strengthen leadership skills, raise your visibility, demonstrate initiative, and expand your internal network. At the same time, you can have fun doing something you enjoy.

I’ve published a free booklet of things to consider before starting a club at your office. These tips come from my experience starting a book club for program managers and sponsoring a book club on women’s leadership. While my experience is with book clubs, the tips apply to other kinds of clubs as well.
